Water Wise Societies is now transforming Sweden—on the path toward the mission of sustainable water for all by 2050. Do you have an innovative solution that’s ready to transform systems and contribute to this mission? Does it require collaboration among multiple stakeholders in development, testing, and preparations for implementation and scaling so that the solution can be realized? Apply for funding through this call for proposals for needs-driven projects with the potential for systemic change and a focus on utilization. The projects must support one or more of Water Wise Societies’ sub-goals and missions. The goal is to contribute to practical system change where new approaches, technologies, and business models enable water resources to be used more sustainably and equitably.
Water Wise Societies is a program within Impact Innovation, a joint initiative of the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas and Vinnova.
What can you apply for?
To work collaboratively to realize innovative solutions with the potential for systemic change that contribute to one or more of the Water Wise Society’s missions.
Who can apply?
Stakeholders in the system “from source to shore”, for example from the public sector, industry, research organizations, institutes and civil society. The stakeholder group should include at least two parties, including at least one stakeholder.
How much can you apply for?
You can apply for a maximum of 36 months in this call, and receive a maximum of SEK 10,000,000 in grants with up to 70% support level. The total grant budget for the call is SEK 100 million.
