{"id":2200,"date":"2024-11-20T10:01:48","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T08:01:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/waterwisesocieties.se\/utlysning\/impact-innovation-strategic-projects\/"},"modified":"2024-11-20T10:01:48","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T08:01:48","slug":"impact-innovation-strategic-projects","status":"publish","type":"call","link":"https:\/\/waterwisesocieties.se\/en\/utlysning\/impact-innovation-strategic-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact Innovation: Strategic projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Water Wise Society is looking for stakeholders to plan and implement the strategic project &#8220;Water Resource Teams &#8211; a possible pathway to local and regional stakeholder collaboration to prevent and minimize risks in river basins&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The offer is about that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring together stakeholders in a real river basin to dialog and collaborate in a policy lab on proposals for the development of both the application of existing regulations and a new water resources law.<\/li>\n<li>Work through and highlight the critical issues described below with pros and cons, impact assessment, etc. for a possible water resource option.<\/li>\n<li>Provide proposals for new policies based on the project results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A strategic policy innovation project through policy labs is an opportunity to address the challenges in the field and propose developed legislation and regulation, ultimately a new Water Resources Act.<\/p>\n<p>The project will include evaluation and analysis as a first step towards a better understanding of the complex processes that need to be managed and regulated when introducing a possible new water resources law. Dialogue-based collaboration between key stakeholders in a river basin will be implemented in physical policy labs. There, stakeholders will work through critical issues, highlight trade-offs and propose functions for a water resources act, or regulatory applications for current legislation. The process will also include in-depth interviews with stakeholders.   <\/p>\n<p>The results will provide a basis for further action, both for relevant expert authorities and ministries, but also for Water Wise Societies&#8217; future calls.
