Important results from the project
The objectives are considered to have been met by the activities in the proposal having been implemented. The business and financing models for joint measures that were developed through the case study in Uppsala with several stakeholders have been of great interest to several stakeholders and will hopefully lead to continued development in the area of collaboration for climate adaptation measures.
Expected long-term effects
Long-term impacts expected from the project include improved collaboration and business and financing models for climate adaptation measures to address the challenges of flood-resilient communities. The project also aims to contribute to the Water Wises mission Sustainable Water for All 2050 by focusing on the sub-goal Resilient water supply and management in society and the tasks Adapting communities to floods and droughts and Building and managing communities in harmony with water.
Approach and implementation
The project was carried out according to schedule and the stakeholder group has proposed a follow-up project. The following activities were performed within the scope of the project:
