Purpose and objectives
By bringing together actors from different parts of the water value chain, the project aims to use a systems approach to identify the shifts that have the greatest impact in society, where each actor contributes its view of how the transition to more resource-efficient water use should take place. Through cooperation and joint activities within the stakeholder group, a target image can be created and a continuation project can be formed with a focus on the activities that the group has jointly concluded will have the greatest effect.
Expected impacts and results
The project is expected to result in a project report that describes and justifies continuation projects based on the stakeholder group’s analysis of the societal challenge and the common target image formed using foresight methodology. The project is expected to increase the understanding of challenges and opportunities linked to the societal challenge and strengthen cooperation between actors and thus contribute to more effective and coordinated efforts to achieve more resource-efficient water use.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is organized in four work packages: WP1) Project management to ensure effective implementation. WP2) Stakeholder collaboration where actors are linked, external monitoring takes place and a workshop is held to highlight the social challenge. AP3) Target image through foresight – where a workshop with foresight methodology is conducted and results are analyzed. AP4) Formulation of continuation projects where the target image and roadmap are analyzed during a workshop and the work is compiled in a final report.
